1. Service overview
LandIt ZA (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides CV optimization and job application services for the South African market. By using our service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service scope
- CV Optimization (R400): We rewrite your CV into an ATS-ready, conversion-optimized format. Delivered within 24 hours. Includes one free revision round.
- 50 Applications (R800): We apply to approximately 50 jobs matching your stated criteria (roles, salary, location, industries). Applications are submitted via LinkedIn Easy Apply and directly on company career sites. Delivered within 48 hours.
- Full Package (R1,000): Combines CV optimization and 50 applications. Delivered within 48 hours.
- Another Round (R500): Available to returning customers. An additional batch of approximately 50 targeted applications using your existing profile. Delivered within 48 hours.
“50 applications” means we submit your CV and relevant details to approximately 50 job postings. We cannot guarantee responses, interviews, or employment outcomes, as these depend on employer decisions outside our control.
3. Authorization to act on your behalf
By submitting your details through our intake form, you explicitly authorize LandIt ZA to:
- Access your LinkedIn account using the credentials you provide, solely for the purpose of submitting job applications
- Submit your CV and personal details to employers and job platforms on your behalf
- Answer screening questions using information you have provided
LandIt ZA acts as your authorized agent. You confirm that you are the owner of the LinkedIn account and any other accounts used during the process.
4. LinkedIn credentials & security
- Your LinkedIn credentials are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an encrypted database (Supabase with AES-256 encryption at rest)
- Access is restricted to the LandIt operator completing your applications
- Credentials are permanently deleted within 48 hours of completing your applications
- We never share credentials with third parties, use them for any purpose beyond job applications, or retain them after service completion
- We strongly recommend you change your LinkedIn password after your applications are complete
5. LinkedIn Terms of Service
We are transparent that using a third-party service to access your LinkedIn account may conflict with LinkedIn's Terms of Service. LinkedIn may restrict or suspend accounts that it detects are being accessed by automated tools. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept this risk. LandIt ZA is not responsible for any action LinkedIn takes against your account.
6. Payment & refund policy
- All payments are once-off and processed securely via Yoco (Visa/Mastercard). We do not store your card details.
- If we cannot find and apply to 50 suitable jobs matching your criteria, we will either extend the search at no extra cost or provide a proportional refund based on the shortfall (e.g., if we apply to 40 jobs, you receive a 20% refund of the application fee).
- CV optimization includes one free revision round. If you are unsatisfied after the revision, contact us to discuss options.
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of service delivery.
- No refunds are issued for dissatisfaction with employer responses (or lack thereof), as interview outcomes are outside our control.
7. Data handling & POPIA compliance
LandIt ZA complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For full details on how we collect, use, store, and delete your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time
- In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA
- Our designated information officer can be reached via WhatsApp
8. User responsibilities
- You confirm that all information provided (CV, career preferences, credentials) is accurate and truthful
- You confirm you are the owner of the LinkedIn account whose credentials you provide
- You are responsible for changing your LinkedIn password after service completion
- You understand that LandIt ZA submits applications on your behalf but cannot guarantee interviews or job offers
9. Limitation of liability
- LandIt ZA's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
- We are not liable for any action taken by LinkedIn, employers, or job platforms against your account as a result of using our service
- We are not liable for unsuccessful job applications, lack of employer responses, or employment outcomes
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of our service
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
