Information we collect

When you use our intake form, we collect the following information:

  • Full name, email address, and WhatsApp number
  • Your CV and any supporting documents you upload
  • Career preferences: target roles, salary expectations, location, industries, and deal-breakers
  • LinkedIn login credentials (email and password) if you opt in to our application service

How we use your information

  • To optimize and rewrite your CV in an ATS-ready format
  • To search for and apply to jobs on your behalf
  • To generate your LandIt Score report
  • To communicate with you about your order status
  • To process your payment via Yoco

LinkedIn credentials

If you provide your LinkedIn credentials, they are used solely to submit job applications on your behalf.

  • Credentials are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an encrypted database (Supabase with AES-256 encryption at rest)
  • Access is restricted to the single LandIt operator completing your applications
  • Credentials are permanently deleted within 48 hours of completing your applications
  • They are never shared with third parties, used for any purpose beyond job applications, or retained after service completion
  • We strongly recommend changing your LinkedIn password after your applications are complete

Data retention

We retain your order information (name, email, career preferences, and CV) for the duration needed to deliver our service and for reasonable follow-up support. LinkedIn credentials are deleted within 48 hours. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Yoco, a PCI DSS-compliant payment provider. We do not store your card details. Yoco handles all card information in accordance with their own privacy and security policies.

Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Object to the processing of your personal information
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies for authentication and anonymous analytics (Vercel Analytics) to improve our service. We do not use third-party advertising pixels or tracking cookies. You can manage your preferences via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, in accordance with POPIA.
